My name is Ben Ivey, and I started Wire Guys because I simply love being on the water. Just like most young fishermen, I dreamed of a professional career on the Elite Series, the Bass Pro Tour, and hoisting that Ray Scott Trophy high above my head after weighing in a record-breaking bag of bigs. Turns out, that’s a bit harder than it looks, so I leaned into learning as much as I could about boats. My aspirations may have changed, but my passion for fishing… and being out on the water is even greater today than it was way back when. At the end of the day, that’s what it’s all about to me. Don’t get me wrong. We’re great at what we do, and we take great pride in doing it well. But what we do at Wire Guys isn’t nearly as important as why we do it.

It’s not just about wires, graphs, lights, and boats. It’s about more sunrises, more sunsets, more casts, more stories, and more time with your people in the places you love most.

Wire Guys is committed to that dad and his kid getting up at 4:30 AM to hunt for a bite. Brothers spending a day together. Buddies giving each other hell at the boat ramp after “the monster that got away.” Somebody actually landing the biggest bass of his life. And… coming up zero and still calling it a damn good day.
